That said, I would recommend the basic pattern version only to people who already have experience working with leather and leather crafting techniques. The public YouTube video is helpful, but it does not include every step or all the important details needed during the build. Beginners may struggle to achieve a good result without additional experience or the advanced lesson.
If you already have leatherworking skills, this pattern is absolutely worth it. I'm now at the final stage and only have to paint and finish my helmet!
