   These gloves/gauntlets work very well! I recommend using double cap rivets or sewing the scales if you aren't going to use a glove under them. But that's absolutely not a downside to the pattern itself.

   I decided to work with worbla and EVA foam. The pattern worked amazingly with some little adjustments. Patterns were clear and the video tutorial helped a lot to see how to put everything together. Overall I'm very pleased with the pattern and my new gauntlets.

   So far, so good. The double lines on the lower cuff were a little confusing at first, but I got it sorted. I found the knuckles were a little close together. My hand is 3.5" center-to-center on the knuckles, and the gauntlet is just over 3" at 100% size. The video could have been a little clearer about where the palm straps go. I had to do a lot of stop and rewind to figure it out. Otherwise, I am loving this build. The glove in the picture is a TIG welding glove in white with a black cuff. I dyed it to match~ the rest of the set.
