   My most favorite part of this project. I made the scales slightly larger, and instead of a belt, I attached the panels, front and back, to the articulating strap of the chest plate with post screws.

   Takes a very long time to make but worth the effort. With the dye and gloss it creates a lovely emerald sheen that gives a beautiful finish to the leather. However the tutorial does mention to scale the pattern up, this is an easy part to miss the smaller scales don't look as good.

   I'm just a beginner in leather working and found the template easy to use and the accompanying video tutorial fantastic. Highly recommend Prince Armory. Still cutting scales at the moment, but will post photographs when finished.

   Made the scale skirt to continue my son's fantasy armor. The skirt adds a really cool effect and my son loves the way it moves, like waves! The pattern was dead on as always but this one was really labor intensive! Shaping and dying took some time but was definitely worthwhile. Tassets are next!

   Fanasy skirt

   Great pattern, easy to use....lot of cutting.
   I love it.
   Up to the next level.
