I started working with leather December of 2024, learned the basics, and then started on this armor set in March. The video tutorials are very well made and I was able to finish the entire set in 5 months. If someone wants to learn how to make armor I recommend this armor set to start with.

It was my second armor project. It was great having a tested and proven pattern as the basis. The finished armor is super comfortable to wear and quite flexible, which is a huge benefit.
And it was quite nice to have an alternative design in the pattern. I had problems with figuring out the right size in which to print the pattern. In the end i printed it 3 times and built 3 paper mock ups of it...so some more help or reference points for figuring out the right size in which to print it would be great. And i wouldn't mind some suggestions on the pattern on where to place the buckles.
The videos were a great additional help in bringing the armor to life. I added a little twist to the design by adding some etched brass plates on the front and a way to attach a cape on the back. It was quite fun to get creative with it 🙂

Though it is slow going due to my work, this project has been awesome and very rewarding. Having the patterns makes this build so much easier than having to make it all on your own. So very grateful for the armor pattern, the price, and the assistance from the community in discord. Would totally recommend this to everyone I haven’t already recommended it too. The pattern holes never seem to match exactly correct but it could be how I print it. The cuirass turned out great. I didn't do a whole lot of tooling to keep it simple for my first project. I had to shorten the overall length of the bracers but they still came out good. The Spaulders were spot on.

Great Pattern
Lots of fun and pretty easy to build. Only my second pattern I've ever put together. Been practicing with stamping.
