Takes a very long time to make but worth the effort. With the dye and gloss it creates a lovely emerald sheen that gives a beautiful finish to the leather. However the tutorial does mention to scale the pattern up, this is an easy part to miss the smaller scales don't look as good.

A great pattern for beginners, easy to follow and shape. I did find that the face plate was too long and scraped my chest when I wore it. To compensate I trimmed a bit off and cut out the sides to hear better. Worth it for any serious larper

Great pattern! This was only my second leather project but it turned out pretty decently. I referred to the video tutorial a lot throughout the process and in particular the assembly. Perhaps a diagram of how the pieces are supposed to overlap would clarify the assembly process. Overall a great pattern and video.

This was my first time following a pattern from Prince Armory and it worked out great! The leather I chose to use wouldn't work for tooling as the originals call for so I opted to use a stitch groover to add the designs and added a suede liner. These were a fun project and will definitely only be the first of many projects from Prince Armory patterns.
