Prince Armory is known for crafting some of the most epic and elaborate functional fantasy armor on the planet. Now we are distilling our lifetime of experience into a series of patterns and lessons here at the Prince Armory Academy.
Traditional apprenticeships can take many years and a lot of hard work and dedication but our lessons will allow you to start making impressive creations immediately. There is no substitute for mileage though so our unique angle is to have you learn by doing with purpose-built armor pattern bundles that focus on specific stages of learning, with new techniques gradually introduced with each new lesson and series.
At the end of each series, you will not only level up your crafting abilities, but you will have an epic creation you can wear and impress your peers. “Did you make that” they will say, and you will get to proudly say “Yes I did!”
You are also free to pick and choose components from our bundles and there will be standalone lessons and patterns to go even further but if you wish to master the craft, you can start with the basics and work your way up over time, one theme at a time.

The Warrior series is for absolute beginners and will provide an fast and easy introduction to leathercraft and armor making and will focus on the foundations in greater detail.
Fantasy Armor
Beginner To Intermediate Crash Course
The Fantasy Armor series is purpose-built to give you a guided tour packed solid with demonstrations, tips, & techniques that will catapult you to new heights as you gain new skills and knowledge. The pattern set comes with two distinct styles along with male/female variations and each video lesson demonstrates new details and techniques to give you countless style options when crafting your suit.
Imperial Knight
Intermediate Leather Armor Crafting Course
When you are ready to expand upon your knowledge from there or want more options for your armor projects, consider trying out the Imperial Knight series which will add an all new style and demonstrate even more details and tooling options.
This series is also built as an introduction to laser cutting leather armor and most parts will fit in common desktop sized laser cutting units such as Glowforge.
Elven Lord
Advanced Leather Armor Crafting Course
When you want to take things to the next level, your next stop is the Elven Lord series which is an advanced course with a jaw-dropping amount of premium tutorials and bonus content that is packed with our secret techniques for highly embellished leather art and armor projects.
