   Heavily modified version of the pattern, so that rivets were only used at the elbow joint. In addition, no buckles but round-headed rivets as fasteners. Even though it looks completely different from the original, it was a great starting point. Hardened with wax, it feels almost like wearing a plate armour. The shoulder design is by myself.

   This was very first attempt at leather work. Making my son a full suit. I'm using 4 to 5oz weight to lighten it up a bit and it's working out well for him at least. Working with a budget here and this pattern is definitely great value. I unfortunately cannot purchase the whole bundle at once so we will get 1 piece at a time when the money is available.

   Great pattern. Easy to follow and fits very neatly. I altered the left arm to remove the elbow pad replace it with a sheet of leather to act as an archery arm guard.

   Love the pattern! I'm a novice leatherwork and found this project easy to follow. I didn't have to resize it and the videos make it easy to figure out what goes where. The only issue I had was cutting it the leather, guess I have to do more projects like this to toughen them up... (Or choosing a thinner piece) Would definitely recommend and I'll absolutely be purchasing more.

   This was my first leather armor project. I have little experience with leather, but with these patterns and online tutorials I have a piece that I am happy with. Highly recommend if you are new.
