This Is a very good pattern With beginner friendly description. It requires Some patience to Bend and Put the parts along Each other but IT IS definitely Worth.
I suggest to use screwing rivets aß they Made it easier to tighten Some parts on Each other before tempting Them again to fit the Last parts together.
All in all a very very good article
PS: the Mannequin head ist very small thats why the Helmet Looks to big

First time making any kind of armor besides chainmaille and I have to say I'm addicted. My helmet is made from EVA foam instead of leather and yet the pattern worked perfectly. Looking forward to buying more patterns!

This is the fourth piece that I have completed and I will say assembly on this one was a bit more challenging than sections from the Fantasy series. Keeping the dome shape while riveting was my biggest challenge and I definitely have "bacon edges" but I am still super happy with how it came out. Lastly, I like that I was able to put my own spin on the pattern to keep the theme of the Fantasy armor that I have already been making. I absolutely recommend this pattern and can't wait to see what comes next!

It may say "beginner" pattern, but it was definitely not simple. Pay close attention to how each piece is wet molded in the video and test fit the pieces before before you set the rivets. Ultimately, be prepared to make two. Make the first one just to learn how to do it correctly, then make a second one to be proud of. (This is my first one lol)
