A great pattern for beginners, easy to follow and shape. I did find that the face plate was too long and scraped my chest when I wore it. To compensate I trimmed a bit off and cut out the sides to hear better. Worth it for any serious larper

Fantastic pattern! Mine came out not so great due to my own fault. I sealed the leather and forgot to wet form anything so the shape wasn?t perfect. I also wanted to add black trim to the edges but again sealed it. Hey I?m still learning ok. The patter. Is great though. I?d suggest Printing out a few copies for the piece that requires you to make multiples.

This pattern is the perfect project for starting out. It is very simple to use and very cool. This is the second helmet I created since our ren fair does not allow covered faces due to thefts and so I had to get created. I recommend this pattern to everyone who is starting the craft. Thank you!

I really enjoyed making this piece. It fits my head well and the youtube tutorial was very helpful. I would love to see a video on how to line pieces like this helmet with a more comfortable material or padding. Also I used the fiebings antique finish followed by the tuff kote finish, which caused the drip lines on my piece, but I kind of like the more scaly look of them.
