By default each scale is roughly 55MM in length and comes with separate files for the individual scale design, an individual supported scale, and a batch of 10 pre-supported scales.
The scale has a hole in the back that will allow you to rivet the design to a flexible backing material such as leather.
There will be related content later in the Hydra series such as the armored skirting that will require these scales to build. But in the meanwhile, you can also come up with your own configurations and watch some of our other instructional build videos for the leather crafted skirting we’ve done and emulate the assembly methods.

I have printed these files successfully using an Elegoo Saturn 2 using Sunlu Toughness, & Black ABS Like Resin. The ‘standard’ resins so far have been too brittle for this application in my opinion. Your mileage may vary but I’ll be testing other resins and will add a recommended materials resource down the line. You can also join our Discord community and chat in the 3D printing channels.
Note that the pre-arranged set of 10 scales is a large file and may give errors in some cases. If you have issues downloading, just download the single scale and duplicate it in your slicer.
