I started leatherworking specifically for this pattern and it did not disappoint. This pattern is easy to follow and the YT tutorials are very high quality. The pattern is easy to modify for design and size if need be (which I did). This is the first thing I’ve ever made with leather.

Pattern itself was relatively straightforward and easy to work with, though the video tutorial and Discord community are what really bump this site/pattern up to a 5 star rating, as that is where you can find the most help and information about order of operations, supplies, troubleshooting, and support. Would love to see more information about materials and hardware, as well as integration with other pieces of this set in the pattern, but not the worst stuff to figure out on one's own.
I do recommend making a mockup first to check sizing, as 100% worked fine for me, though we had to bump it up to maybe 120% for a friend with larger shoulders, (and even at 100%, can make for a fun helm, as seen in the first pic).
Made these in a 5/6oz veg-tan, and as this was my first real leatherworking project and I wanted to throw myself into the deep end of detailing, these took around 40 hours, though I suspect a simpler version without all the tooling would take a fraction of that.

Love this, easy to follow and size, I used cheap poster board to do a mock-up to make sure I had the sizing right. I found 90% size was great and transferred the pattern to leather. I can't wait to do the rest of the suit.

Made these with a 10 oz veg tan leather. The regular size (printed with no scaling) is a little large for my wrists but I will be gluing some fur inside which should do the trick. Impressed that they came out so nice. Thank you for the video tutorials, tips and tricks!

Great patterns and videos. With Christmas orders I've only had time to build a couple of the items, looking forward to completing the entire armor set after the Christmas rush. Only suggestion would be to add the square footage of leather and hardware needed for each segment.

I made my helmet from eva foam and worbla. It's really sturdy and after adding some foam strips on
the inside it's comfy as well. Overall a really satisfying and cool-looking build!
