I really enjoyed making this piece. It fits my head well and the youtube tutorial was very helpful. I would love to see a video on how to line pieces like this helmet with a more comfortable material or padding. Also I used the fiebings antique finish followed by the tuff kote finish, which caused the drip lines on my piece, but I kind of like the more scaly look of them.

I'd sewn with leather before, but this was the first project trying with leather molding. It worked quite well even though I only used very thin leather salvaged from a jacket. This is a fun project for beginners, since you can get a complete project in a relatively short amount of time. Great for batman bracers
