I originally got the Fantasy Armor helmet pattern several years ago and built the helmet right away! But due to various life-issues it took me until recently to get the rest of the patterns, but the leather and start my build. I opted for a blue and silver design with a touch of tarnished gold on the spaulders! It looks fantastic. The only part left to finish are the sabatons and the gauntlets.

Don't be put off by the relative simplicity of the Warrior's Bracers - they are a really good place to start if you don't have much experience. Because they are a relatively simple pattern, you don't get overwhelmed, it's easy to keep momentum going to finish them, and you don't feel like it's a disaster if you do something wrong. And because it's a relatively simple pattern, there is room to customise them, even to modify them once you're more comfortable with the process. These are my second leather project, doing them has been a good stepping stone, and gives me better confidence to try more complex projects.

Second piece here. It was more challenging to make the shape and align the plates, and it was my first time using double cap rivets and chicago screws (bought online 'cos you don't find those in my city). Once you start assembling the side pieces everythings looks harmonic. The only con is that the final piece fits too tight on my head so I'll have to make it again and scale it a bit bigger

It was a good project to start learning the edge tooling. Made the 2 styles but the pointy version is the way to go. I think the tutorial video is missing the part where you can use Foxit PDF reader to scale the pattern, I had to do it by hand to have a bigger pattern. Anyway the instructions are easy to follow, if you have some previous practice you can adapt the materials to the ones available in your place (I used alcohol based red aniline, piroxiline black paint and wax sealer) and the result is nice.

Although probably very ambitious for this to be my first foam and leather craft project, the first piece (the skull helmet) turned out great! Intimidated but excited to work on the rest. This helmet was foam to test the fit. The only part in the tutorial that confused me was how princearmory got the brow ridge to be so defined but after slowing the video and watching it again, I noticed how he used his burning tool to fuse the foam to stay in the folded position. Explaining those small strategies and tips would be even better. Thanks so much for the awesome patterns and videos!

**foam version** I was originally just looking for a template for the skull helmet, but honestly from the videos I've seen i may just remake my whole cosplay from these templates! While I cut this on a cricut rather than by hand this was easy to put together and completely customizable. As the picture shows I chose to make the cuff rather than the Bracers but this just meant less pieces , same build.
