This was my first attempt at a Prince Armory pattern - I've done some leatherwork before and was entirely self-taught, so it was great to have a video walking me through the process. Some things I wish the video included: more closeups of the construction process/how each piece fit together and more detailed information on each tool/product used on the leather to clarify what gets used where and how. But overall it was easy enough to follow, and with a little Google-fu for some of the things I didn't understand/weren't covered, I got this bad boy put together finally. I used Chicago screws instead of rivets, and acrylic dye (so I could mix colours) instead of alcohol-based leather dye.
The armor is very comfortable

I enjoyed making this set, I still have a few items to go. I still have a lot to learn on the sizing, but the patterns and videos are great tools. The articulation was a bid draw for me and it was worth it. I have a great range of movement. I can do light yoga in the breastplate. Overall Prince academy helped me make a dream come true, to make my set of armor.

The female elven lord bundle does not have female cuirass yet and this pattern ties in nicely. The pattern was easy to follow. I did add some extra to the sides to accommodate my not Barbie figure. Forgive the poor photo I just finished this piece and haven’t had time to get good photos yet.

I was really excited to work with these scales. I had attempted a leather scale skirt before, but these files are by far a better option for me. The detail is incredible and they printed with no errors. I am planning on implementing them into my elven armor and I am still working on printing on printing more, but so far no issues at all. I would love to see more designs for 3D printed scales in the future!

First time improvising tools to round the inner surface, first time riveting a full rounded surface, I won't label this as a "starter project", as I have some years of practice and this was challenging, but I'm happy with my learning and the result. I went with plain silver here to wear it with my previous existant armor.

Prince's patterns are absolutely amazing and super enjoyable. I had never worked with leather prior to this but through Prince's guide videos I was able to pick up on it and finish the project with relative ease and lots of enjoyment. I highly recomend anyone with any interest in the craft to give it a shot and you may suprise yourself!

I've been working with leather for about 15 years, making my own designs, however I really wanted to try something different. This was a perfect choice and allowed me to learn some new techniques!
I would not recommend this for a new leather worker, but I would certainly recommend for those who have some experience, you'll learn a lot!
