Be the first to dive in on this unique helmet core design. It is not historically derived but resembles a mix between a bascinet and a barbute. This helmet is the foundation of a custom dragon helmet I’m working on now and the tooling and decoration scheme will be up to you to decide. That said, tutorials for tooling this texture and how to make the tools to do it are also up for pre-order!

This project is considered intermediate to advanced. This means you will need to have a bit of leather crafting and armor-making skills to pull this off. It is going to be a bit more of a challenge to make than say the Fantasy Helmet. The tutorial, when ready, will demonstrate the crafting process from start to finish however and with a little practice with hand wet molding you should have no problem crafting this piece to perfection.
