Its like a big puzzle. You cut the pieces, drill the holes, paint and dye, all the while testing and adjusting to make it personal and custom fitting. Great project, complete addiction, as its easy to keep grabbing another piece, just one more, before bed. Working 4 months so far and still have a lot to do. Cant wait to wear at the RenFest in Kansas City.

This is the fourth piece that I have completed and I will say assembly on this one was a bit more challenging than sections from the Fantasy series. Keeping the dome shape while riveting was my biggest challenge and I definitely have "bacon edges" but I am still super happy with how it came out. Lastly, I like that I was able to put my own spin on the pattern to keep the theme of the Fantasy armor that I have already been making. I absolutely recommend this pattern and can't wait to see what comes next!

This was very first attempt at leather work. Making my son a full suit. I'm using 4 to 5oz weight to lighten it up a bit and it's working out well for him at least. Working with a budget here and this pattern is definitely great value. I unfortunately cannot purchase the whole bundle at once so we will get 1 piece at a time when the money is available.
